WebApr 21, 2008 · In EAC you need to use the Compress WAV option and set it up to compress to FLAC. I'm in work too and can't remember the details. However, even better, there's a little app called FLACdrop which is really cool - simply drag & drop WAVs onto it and it creates FLAC - drag & frop FLAC onto it and it creates WAVs. Do a search on it. WebWAV is essentially the default. "ripping to FLAC" is really just ripping to WAV and converting to FLAC after. ... Because EAC supports secure ripping to help ensure that it gets a perfect copy of the audio without bit errors. Most other ripping software does not support this .
