Start with the shielding; don't buy semi-expensive copper shielding kits but rather just a roll of aluminium tape. It should only cost you €4/$5 and is enough to do about 100 guitars. I first read up about star grounding guitar amps and then checked the grounding schema for this one. It is mostly via the PCB. I checked the PCB for any problems and rewired the input sockets.
