Thinkpad fan grinding noise

I just updated my BIOS on brand new Lenovo Thinkpad E14 laptop and then I start hearing loud fan noise at startup? What is the issue? I have never even heard fan kick in on this laptop till today until the update. The name of the BIOS update is Thinkpad Bios ... WebLenovo Thinkpad x240 - Fan making weird grinding noises. I opened up the laptop and after a while of looking through the fan there was no obstruction. The sound is very loud but doesn't effect the cooling abbilty. The sound goes away after a few reboots.
